Welcome to the Brown Team!

The Brown Team is staying within the framework of the No Child Left Behind Act and the Florida Sunshine Standards of what students should know, lessons are taught using Marzano’s High Yield Strategies, giving students the edge they need to compete globally. Within each class, students have access to the knowledge and skills they need to master established benchmarks as required by the State of Florida. These valuable experiences rest on the innovations that teachers use each day to deliver content in a positive environment that fosters individual growth. Since students are expected to perform at high standards, it is necessary that they each come equipped with the tools necessary to actively participate in their learning. Additionally, students are expected to complete all required tasks, which includes maintaining an organized binder of all notes and classwork. It is also important that students complete all assigned homework and projects, as these assignments are an extension of what is learned in class and provides additional evidence that students can perform outside the classroom setting.
